Lighting Has a New Address: Visual Comfort & Co. Arrives in San Antonio

Visual Comfort & Co. San Antonio Showroom at 6411 Broadway

Light, layered and unmistakably Texan, Visual Comfort & Co. has officially landed in San Antonio.
The brand has opened a 4,000-square-foot showroom at 6411 Broadway, transforming one of the city’s most design-forward neighbourhoods into a destination for considered, beautifully executed lighting.

A SHOWROOM THAT FEELS LIKE HOME

More than a traditional retail space, the San Antonio showroom is imagined as a lived-in home environment, where decorative lighting, architectural lighting, controls and shading are experienced in context. Each setting shows how light interacts with materials, textures and artwork, subtly shifting the atmosphere from morning to evening and shaping how a space actually feels to live in.

DESIGNER COLLABORATIONS, FRONT AND CENTER

At the core of the experience is an impressive lineup of designer lighting partnerships, including Kelly Wearstler, Marie Flanigan, Paloma Contreras and Sean Lavin, alongside many others. The result is a curated mix that feels architectural, personal and timeless, rather than trend-driven.

WHERE LIGHTING AND SHADING WORK TOGETHER

Beyond fixtures, the showroom introduces integrated lighting controls and motorised shading solutions, including the brand’s new custom Roman Shade program. Here, layered lighting and smart shading work in harmony, balancing natural daylight and interior illumination to enhance comfort, mood, and daily rhythm.

“San Antonio’s design sensibility reflects a respect for heritage, materials, and enduring quality,” says Gale Singer, founder of Visual Comfort & Co.’s direct division. “This showroom brings together our decorative and architectural lighting expertise in a way that allows customers to experience how thoughtful, layered lighting works in harmony with natural light and the warmth of the region.”

OPEN, ACCESSIBLE, PERSONAL

The showroom welcomes walk-ins and appointments, with in-person and virtual consultations available, making it a practical resource for homeowners, interior designers and architects alike.
