What you can report
- Copyright or trademark infringement
- Defamation or materially false claims
- Unauthorised disclosure of personal or confidential information
- Fraudulent, misleading or impersonating content
- Other unlawful material
- Material that breaches our Terms of Use & Submissions
What to include
To help us identify and assess the material, please provide:
- Your name and email address, unless the law permits an anonymous notice
- The exact URL of the content
- A clear explanation of why you believe it is illegal or infringing
- The legal right or rule you believe is affected, where known
- Supporting evidence, including proof that you own or represent the relevant right where applicable
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and submitted in good faith
What happens next
We will acknowledge and assess sufficiently detailed notices in a timely, diligent and objective manner. We may request additional information, temporarily restrict material, contact the submitting user, reject an unsupported notice or remove content.
Where we restrict or remove submitted content, we may provide the affected user with the reasons and information about available review options, except where prohibited by law or where doing so would create a security or legal risk.
Urgent matters
If there is an immediate risk to safety, contact the relevant emergency service or law-enforcement authority as well as notifying us. This reporting channel does not replace official legal procedures.
Copyright notices
For copyright complaints, identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing material, your relationship to the work and the action requested. Misrepresenting ownership or infringement may have legal consequences.
